4-Year-Old Tweet Comes Back to Haunt JD Vance After New Trump-Epstein Revelation
"Walther's opinion piece, posted on July 8, 2019, poses the question, Was Trump speaking from personal experience when he said in 2002 that Epstein likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side'? The old post is coming back to bite Vance after the release of several emails between Epstein, his alleged madam Ghislaine Maxwell, and author Michael Wolff, one of which includes Epstein saying one of his victims spent hours at my house with [Trump]."
"I think about this @matthewwalther column about once a month, with a link to the Matthew Walther piece in The Week titled, The Jeffrey Epstein case is why people believe in Pizzagate. Vance also included a reply to his own post, saying, Remember when we learned that our wealthiest and most powerful people were connected to a guy who ran a literal child sex trafficking ring? And then that guy died mysteriously in a jail? And now we just don't talk about it."
JD Vance posted on X on Sept. 4, 2021 referencing Jeffrey Epstein and Pizzagate themes. Vance replied to his own message recalling wealthy and powerful people connected to a literal child sex trafficking ring and Epstein's mysterious jail death. A 2019 question raised whether Trump spoke from personal experience when he said in 2002 that Epstein likes beautiful women and many are on the younger side. Recently released emails between Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Michael Wolff include a message in which Epstein wrote that one of his victims spent hours at my house with [Trump]. CNN's Andrew Kaczynski and others resurfaced Vance's 2021 message after the email disclosure. Vance opposed Trump in 2016, once calling him "America's Hitler," but later aligned with him ahead of the 2024 campaign.
