At about 1:30 p.m., good Samaritans found Metzger's body near Long Island Ledges, a small island just west of Bremen Long Island, officials said. His body was released to a local funeral home and will be examined by the state's Office of Chief Medical Examiner. No further information about Metzger's death has been released."
