Voters are advised to return their ballots early because of mail delay concerns

Whittaker expressed deep concern about the 400+ mail-in ballots received past the June 24 deadline, saying, 'The canvass of the will of the people is a sacred thing, it made me sick.'

Mandy Vigil emphasized the unprecedented nature of the election issues this year, stating, 'We've been raising these alarms [with the Postal Service] for the past year... the lack of response made us feel like this was necessary.'
