Michael Naughton, 55, is charged with multiple felonies after authorities found 13 decomposing bodies at Camelot Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Naughton operated the funeral home despite having his license revoked in 2019. Bodies were discovered in various locations, including six in the chapel and three in the garage, with some stacked. Additionally, 17 boxes of cremated remains were located in the basement. He is accused of defrauding families by falsely claiming to be a licensed funeral director and stealing thousands of dollars.
