United Airlines has announced new international routes to Asia and Australia, debuting in the fall and winter of 2025. This includes service to Bangkok, Vietnam, and the Philippines. While there are no direct flights from the U.S. to Bangkok, United will offer connecting flights via Hong Kong. The new routes include flights to Ho Chi Minh City and a seasonal service to Adelaide, which will be the first nonstop connection between the U.S. and the South Australian city. The airline aims to enhance access to global travel.
"At United, we're changing the way people think about where they travel-by offering the greatest access to see and explore the world, whether it's for relaxation, adventure or business."
"The U.S.-to-Bangkok route won't be direct; there are currently no direct commercial flights between the U.S. and the Thai capital."
