Ukrainians in the U.S. use connections and their art to support the war effort
Briefly

An 1860s farmhouse in Leander, Texas hosted the "Many Faces, One Force" exhibit, celebrating Ukrainian culture through art, music, and community contributions. Vendors showcased Ukrainian art, clothing, and food, including varenyky. Central to the event was artist Iana Nikutina's painting collection highlighting the efforts of Ukrainian and American women supporting their homeland. The event aims to maintain awareness of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war and encourage community and financial support for Ukraine, while featuring performances like Alex Syedin's emotional solo piano album, "Out of Homeland."
"A lot of women teach children, some volunteer in different organizations, some help the Ukrainian army, and I wanted to appreciate these women for their work."
"What can we do as artists? I decided to create a solo piano album about what's going on in Ukraine and it's called Out of Homeland."
