Two dogs, inseparable at a shelter, were just adopted together

"Every single person on our staff fell in love with her," said Emily Zheng, a marketing manager at the shelter, highlighting how Rellie's personality shined once she warmed up.
"It was hard to find somebody that was going to give her that time and patience that she needed," Zheng reflects on the challenges dogs like Rellie face in securing a loving home.
"They were our two longest residents," said Zheng, explaining how Rellie and Boone formed a bond during their extended stay at the shelter, supporting each other through their loneliness.
"It took Rellie multiple days to warm up to us humans but she eventually did and has just been the sweetest dog," said Graecyn Boyd, sharing their heartwarming experience adopting Rellie.
