Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan approved a plan to demolish the Green Lake Lodge, previously known as the Jeffrey E Epstein Scholarship Lodge. The school removed references to Jeffrey Epstein after his 2008 conviction and said the lodge developed associations that do not reflect institutional values. Epstein attended the arts camp as a teenager in 1967 and donated more than $400,000 between 1990 and 2003, including $200,000 for the lodge’s construction. Epstein accusers have said they met him at Interlochen in the 1990s. Interlochen invited accusers to speak with an independent investigator and conducted internal reviews, including one after Epstein’s 2019 arrest, finding no misconduct involving him in its records.
