"Shortly before 5 p.m., multiple suspects armed with knives assaulted the victims in the 1600 block of Story Road, near Knox Avenue, according to the San Jose Police Department. The victims were taken to an area hospital with injuries that were later determined not to be life-threatening, police said."

Three men were injured in a stabbing incident Thursday afternoon in East San Jose near the 1600 block of Story Road and Knox Avenue. Multiple suspects armed with knives assaulted the victims shortly before 5 p.m. All three victims were transported to a local hospital where medical personnel determined their injuries were not life-threatening. The suspects fled the scene before police officers arrived and remained unidentified and at large as of Friday evening. The San Jose Police Department continues investigating the incident.
