There's still a chance to see the Northern Lights from lower latitudes

The solar storm that pushed the Northern Lights much farther south than normal had an impact on power grids, telecommunications, and global positioning systems, with only minor disruptions reported as powerful electromagnetic pulses were sent toward Earth.
Friday and Saturday's storms, caused by powerful coronal mass ejections, expanded sightings of the Northern and Southern Lights to areas not typically experiencing them, including the U.S., China, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Chile, and Argentina.
