Wildfires, though often discussed in terms of possessions lost, also erode our personal and communal landscapes, taking with them memories and shared experiences that shaped our lives.
My memories of the Will Rogers State Historic Park and the sense of peace it provided are overshadowed by the reality that it is now charred and lost.
