Boston Common Golf defeated Los Angeles Golf Club 7-5 in a back-and-forth TGL match at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, earning Boston its first team victory after a winless 2025 season. Active Boston players were Rory McIlroy, Keegan Bradley and Michael Thorbjornsen; Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama were inactive. Los Angeles competed with Justin Rose, Collin Morikawa and Sahith Theegala while Tommy Fleetwood sat out. Thorbjornsen's debut began poorly when his first SoFi Center shot landed in a bunker and bounced back, and Boston lost the opening hole. McIlroy's 92-yard shot left the ball nine feet away to tie the match, and Theegala later chipped in from just over 70 feet on Hole 4.
