Teen says 'party mom' retaliated against her for breaking up with her son
"If O'Connor is convicted of sexual battery or molesting a minor, Webby said she would be required to register as a sex offender under California law. A conviction on all counts would also carry a potential sentence of more than 30 years. Prosecutors have identified 14 named juvenile victims, seven girls referred to as Jane Does, and seven boys, or John Does, according to Webby, and none of the testifying juveniles have immunity agreements. In addition, prosecutors have other juvenile witnesses, who are not named victims."
"O'Connor's alleged conduct took place largely during the 2020-21 school year, when many students were socially isolated due to pandemic-related school closures. Prosecutors allege the mother of two pressured teens at some gatherings to engage in sexual activity while they were intoxicated and unable to consent. Investigators wrote in court documents that O'Connor was driven by an "unnatural or abnormal sexual interest" in children, KRON-TV reported."
O'Connor, 51, pleaded not guilty to 63 felony and misdemeanor charges stemming from a 2023 grand jury indictment. All counts remain active, including 20 felony counts of child endangerment and 43 misdemeanor counts for sexual battery, molesting a minor and furnishing alcohol to minors. Fourteen named juvenile victims are identified, seven girls and seven boys, and additional juvenile witnesses are involved; none of the testifying juveniles have immunity agreements. Alleged conduct occurred largely during the 2020-21 school year amid pandemic isolation. O'Connor allegedly hosted alcohol-fueled parties, tightly controlled teens' social lives and pressured intoxicated minors into sexual activity. Conviction could require sex offender registration and carry over 30 years' potential sentence.
