Elections officials in Palm Beach County, Fla., mistakenly misspelled Gov. Tim Walz's name as 'Tom' on 257 electronic ballots sent to military voters.
Wendy Sartory Link stated that the misspelling happened due to a manual typed change by the vendor, which her office was not informed of.
'This error does not affect any other military and overseas ballots or domestic ballots,' said Ms. Link, emphasizing the integrity of the voting process.
The issue raised historical comparisons to the infamous butterfly ballot in the 2000 presidential election, underscoring Palm Beach County's contentious voting history.
