"After Sheriff's Office staff realized Andrews had been released, we launched a search of the immediate area and confirmed that Andrews was no longer in the area," according to the department's Facebook post on Monday."
"In a subsequent TV interview with KRON-TV, Rodriguez told the outlet that he planned on going back and surrendering, even though he was urged to leave the facility. "They made a mistake. Now they're trying to make me look like I'm a monster," Rodriguez reportedly told the station. "I told them I don't think I'm supposed to get out and they were like, 'No, you gotta go,' and I was like, 'All right, I'll leave.'""
