An explosion tore through Accurate Energetic Systems, a military explosives manufacturer near Bucksnort in rural Hickman County, Tennessee, on Friday morning. At least one building was completely destroyed and crews are battling an active brush fire. Hickman County Mayor Jim Bates reported at least 13 people unaccounted for. Emergency personnel were unable to enter the site because explosions continued, and the sheriff's office asked the public to avoid the area. Video showed a burning debris field and damaged vehicles. Residents miles away reported feeling their homes shake and captured the blast on home cameras.
