A man was found lying in a pool of blood at the Burning Man festival in Nevada and authorities are seeking public help to identify him and solve the crime. The decedent is described as a white male between 35 and 40 years old, about six feet tall, 200 pounds, with short brown hair and facial hair. The body was discovered shortly after the giant effigy was lit, and investigators believe the death was a homicide though a specific cause has not been released. Deputies and Bureau of Land Management rangers interviewed attendees while detectives sought leads. Festival organizers are cooperating and peer support counselors were available on the grounds. The event also included an unexpected birth.
