An overnight mass stabbing occurred on a London-bound train, prompting emergency calls at 7:42 p.m. Passengers reported panic with people running through carriages and hiding in toilets. The train made an emergency stop in Huntingdon, around 120 kilometers north of London. Two UK-born men, aged 32 and 35, were arrested eight minutes after the first calls and remain in custody. Police said two people remain in life-threatening condition, with four discharged and a total of 11 treated at hospitals. Officers briefly initiated the national "Plato" code for possible marauding terror attacks but later rescinded it. No motive has been disclosed.
