Brady Kiser may face felony abuse charges following the drowning death of his 3-year-old son Trigg. The Chandler Police Department concluded its investigation and recommended charges for child abuse, which is a Class 4 felony in Arizona. Kiser was reportedly caring for the couple's infant son when Trigg accessed the family's backyard pool and drowned. Emilie Kiser, Trigg's mother and a lifestyle influencer, has filed a lawsuit seeking to keep the details of Trigg's death private due to media attention.
On July 15, the Chandler Police Department announced it had completed its investigation into the May 12 drowning of Trigg and recommended that Brady Kiser be charged with child abuse, a Class 4 felony under Arizona law.
Brady Kiser told police he was solo parenting and caring for the couple's infant son, Teddy, when Trigg gained access to the family's backyard pool and drowned at their home.
Brady Kiser said he became 'distracted' while looking after Teddy, losing sight of Trigg for three to five minutes before discovering him floating in the pool.
Emilie Kiser filed a lawsuit against several Maricopa County public officers to keep records related to Trigg's death private, stating that the family wanted to grieve in private.
