A pedestrian attempted to cross Stevenson Boulevard at mid-block, about 200 hundred feet west of the Sundale Drive intersection, around 8:30 p.m. A Toyota Scion struck the pedestrian, and a second vehicle also struck the person moments later. Emergency responders treated the pedestrian at the scene and transported the person to a hospital, where the pedestrian died. Investigators say alcohol and drug use by the drivers do not appear to be factors and are asking witnesses to contact police.
