Rondale Moore, 25, was found dead in the garage of a property in New Albany from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound. An autopsy was scheduled and the death remains under investigation. Moore starred at Purdue and began his NFL career with the Arizona Cardinals before being traded to the Atlanta Falcons in 2024, where he dislocated his right knee in training camp. He signed with the Minnesota Vikings in 2025 and tore his left knee returning a punt in an exhibition game. Teams and coaches offered condolences and described him as humble, disciplined, and resilient.
