During an appearance on CNN, Bolton indicated that a vast majority of informed individuals would consider the National Security Adviser role as significantly more important. He emphasized his experience in both positions, backing his claim that the National Security adviser holds greater weight in the realm of national stakes and responsibilities.
I mean, I think it really just shows how little about National Security J.D. Vance knows. If you took a hundred people anywhere in this country... 90 out of a hundred... would say National Security adviser is the more important job.
I love being U.N. ambassador, don't get me wrong. But it just doesn't compare. I think what Kaitlan Collins just said about Trump making the decision this morning is interesting.
