The body of 23-year-old Lauren Blackburn, a junior at Princeton University, was discovered in Lake Carnegie, following a nearly week-long search initiated after he was reported missing. Blackburn, an English major, was last seen near Firestone Library before his disappearance. The search began after officials pinged his phone in the area of the lake. Blackburn was noted for his academic achievements and kindness, being a recipient of the prestigious Sam Hutton Fund for the Arts. The cause of death remains undisclosed.

Blackburn, who was majoring in English, was last seen near the college's Firestone Library at around 6 p.m. on April 19 before he vanished.
