Minneapolis shooter 'obsessed' with killing children DW 08/29/2025
Briefly

A 23-year-old shooter fired 116 rifle rounds through stained-glass windows while youngsters sat in pews during Mass at Annunciation Catholic School. Two children, ages 8 and 10, died; officials reported 15 wounded children aged 6 to 15 and three parishioners in their 80s, with most expected to survive. The shooter once attended the same school and was described as obsessed with killing children. Videos and writings showed hate toward many groups, included anti-Catholic rhetoric, and called for the assassination of President Donald Trump. One boy acted as a human shield and teachers protected students while under fire.
It is very clear that this shooter had the intention to terrorize those innocent children,
There's a lot of maybe unrecognized heroes in this event, along with the children that were protecting other children,
act of domestic terrorism motivated by a hate-filled ideology.
