Sage, a miniature poodle, won the top prize at Westminster, marking the 11th win for poodles. Veteran handler Kaz Hosaka, wrapping up his 45-year career, expressed joy and excitement over Sage's victory as his last hurrah before retirement.
Sage's win in the finals was highlighted by Hosaka's pride in the poodle's performance, beating six other finalists including a German shepherd and a shih tzu. The event was slightly marred by a protester trying to disrupt by urging a boycott of breeders.
