The police officers from Columbus, Ohio, shot and killed a man in Milwaukee armed with a knife. The shooting took place near the Republican National Convention, where a massive police presence was deployed.
The police encountered the man with the knife while on patrol, and at least three officers opened fire when the man turned towards them. The shooting occurred in a residential neighborhood near several public facilities.
