The man was driving a cargo van with obstructed license plates when he was pulled over for driving left of the center line on the highway, police said in a news release on social media Thursday. A probable-cause search yielded a "substantial" amount of drugs, according to the police statement: "104 grams of crack cocaine, 6.1 grams of methamphetamine, ecstasy, psilocybin mushrooms, 9.0 grams of MDMA (Molly), 9.9 grams of Dimethyltryptamine (DMT), 3.4 grams of 2CB (synthetic psychedelic drug), LSD tabs and multiple vape pens suspected of containing 2CB.""
An adult male driving a cargo van was stopped in Nevada for driving left of the center line and for having obstructed license plates. The driver told officers he was en route to Black Rock City for Burning Man. A K-9 conducted an open-air sniff and alerted to narcotics, prompting a probable-cause search that recovered a substantial quantity of illegal drugs, including crack cocaine, methamphetamine, MDMA, DMT, psilocybin mushrooms, 2CB, LSD tabs and vape pens suspected of containing 2CB. Officers also found gram scales, packaging materials and prescription medications. The 48-year-old was booked on multiple drug charges and held on $248,000 bail in Lyon County Jail.
