Kansas State defeated Baylor 90-74 in Matthew Driscoll's first game as interim head coach, ending a six-game skid. P.J. Haggerty scored 34 points on 15-of-23 shooting while Nate Johnson added a career-high 33, including four 3-pointers, nine assists and six steals. The Wildcats never trailed and maintained a double-digit lead most of the second half; Johnson's layup gave K-State a 21-point edge with 10:39 remaining. Baylor managed only three of 24 from three-point range, with Isaac Williams IV leading the Bears with 16 points. Kansas State led 41-34 at halftime and will next face No. 13 Texas Tech.
