House ethics panel draft report accuses Gaetz of 'regularly' paying for sex and using drugs
Briefly

The House Ethics Committee is expected to accuse former Rep. Matt Gaetz of regularly paying for sex, using illegal drugs, and engaging in sexual activity with a minor.
From 2017 to 2020, Gaetz "regularly paid women for engaging in sexual activity with him"; in 2017, he "engaged in sexual activity with a 17-year-old girl".
The Ethics Committee concluded that Gaetz violated state sexual misconduct laws and House rules concerning gifts and misuse of his official office.
Although transportation of women across state lines for commercial sex was confirmed, there was insufficient evidence of coercion or underage participation.
