Users have produced AI-generated videos showing historical and celebrity figures performing acts they never did, including an altered Martin Luther King Jr. speech, Michael Jackson rapping and stealing chicken nuggets, Mr. Rogers meeting Tupac, and imagined scenes with Robin Williams. Family members and performers condemned the creations as exploitative and disrespectful. Talent agencies warned that human talent cannot be replaced and vowed to protect clients' intellectual property while OpenAI promoted creative possibilities.
