Flanagan called 911, described his attacker as a "Hispanic male wearing all black," and was intubated at St. Luke's Hospital before being moved to the ICU in critical/stable condition. Gonzales pleaded not guilty and faces additional charges for allegedly assaulting four police officers. A judge ordered a psychiatric evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital after officers said Gonzales appeared mentally deranged during questioning.
