Mourners prepare to bid farewell to Corey Comperatore, who died in an attempt to assassinate former President Donald J. Trump. His funeral set in Cabot, Pa., was highlighted by recognition from Gov. Josh Shapiro and former President Trump at the Republican National Convention.
Comperatore, a longtime member of a church in Cabot, dedicated his life to Sarver, Pennsylvania, where he lived and served in the Volunteer Fire Company. Trump acknowledged his sacrifice during a moment of silence at the Republican National Convention.
