"Working with our partners - as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie's front door the morning of her disappearance," Patel wrote on social media. "Guthrie, the mother of Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie, was last seen on the evening of Jan. 31. That night, she attended dinner and game night at one of her daughters' homes and was dropped back at her home just north of Tucson, Ariz., by a family member around 9:48 p.m. Officials say that several hours later, at 1:47 a.m., Guthrie's doorbell camera disconnected. About a half hour after that, the camera detected movement, but until Tuesday, officials said they had been unable to retrieve the footage."
The FBI released surveillance photos recovered from Nancy Guthrie's home showing a masked, armed individual appearing to tamper with the front-door camera the morning she disappeared. Guthrie was last seen the evening of Jan. 31 after attending dinner and game night at a daughter's home and was dropped at her home just north of Tucson around 9:48 p.m. Guthrie's doorbell camera disconnected at 1:47 a.m.; roughly half an hour later it detected movement, but footage had been inaccessible until new recovery. Blood on the front porch matched Guthrie by DNA and a home camera was reported missing. The FBI possesses a ransom note containing two deadlines, one already passed.
