A single-vehicle crash occurred near 647 Willis St. in Bristol around 11 a.m. when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. First responders attempted life-saving measures and extricated two of the three occupants; the third passenger did not require extrication. All three occupants were transported to Bristol Hospital. The front-seat occupants, a 35-year-old father and his 12-year-old son, were pronounced dead. A 10-year-old back-seat passenger sustained injuries not believed to be life-threatening. Victim names have not been released. Bristol police asked anyone with information or surveillance footage to contact them.
