Indian Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu emphasized, 'We can't take the situation non-seriously,' highlighting the rigid security protocols that are activated for any received threat.
Despite the hoaxes, actions taken included diverting eight flights and enhancing airport security with closed-circuit cameras for better monitoring of the situation.
Naidu asserted that 'Strict action will be taken against hoax threats' as they compromise safety, stressing that 'those jeopardizing security will face serious consequences.'
