Despite this slightly depressing forecast the city is still expected to receive more snow than it did last winter. Exactly how much snow is set to fall on New York City? Forecasts estimate between 17 and 21 inches of snow, which is an increase from last year's 12.9 inches, but still significantly below the city's historical average of 29.8 inches."
