Dozens of monkeys on the loose after escaping research center
Briefly

Authorities urged residents to keep their doors and windows locked and to avoid any unexpected monkey encounters as 43 rhesus monkeys roamed freely in Yemassee.
The Alpha Genesis facility has had at least four previous incidents of monkeys escaping enclosures and received warnings from the USDA for animal misconduct.
The escaped monkeys are all young females weighing about six or seven pounds each, have not been tested, and pose no health risks according to police.
