Mitchell, 43, died of restraint asphyxia along with the effects of cocaine and methamphetamine, the autopsy found, noting that Mitchell was restrained by multiple people after he had used drugs.
The findings 'demand immediate charges' against the security guards involved, the family's attorneys said in a statement released by lawyer Ben Crump.
Outside, four guards pinned him facedown on the concrete until police arrived, according to the investigation and witness video. The video showed Mitchell crying for help and apologizing as the guards appeared to hold him down.
