Javian Adams, 25, allegedly shot his parents, Carlene Williams, 51, and Marc Adams, 55, in the back of the head at their Waterbury home after an argument about his finances. Surveillance footage captured a heated exchange between Adams and his mother, with neighbors saying arguments and alleged theft from the mother's bank account were frequent. Adams left and later returned to the property, then fled in his mother's car, which he abandoned at a Middlebury park. He broke into a stranger's garage early the next morning, was encountered by the homeowner, and was later found cold, wet, and disoriented near a lake while on probation for prior arrests.
