The Anglican Catholic Church revoked the license of priest Calvin Robinson for performing a gesture at a pro-life event that was perceived as a pro-Nazi salute. Robinson defended his actions, stating it was a mockery of criticisms aimed at Elon Musk. However, the Church condemned the gesture, emphasizing that it trivialized the Holocaust's horrors. Previously warned against online trolling and similar behavior, Robinson's actions led to this disciplinary decision, illustrating the serious stance the Church takes on such matters.
'Clearly, he has not, and as such, his license in this Church has been revoked,' the statement reads. 'And we believe that those who mimic the Nazi salute, even as a joke or an attempt to troll their opponents, trivialize the horror of the Holocaust.'
'I gave a talk at a pro-life event that seemed to go down well,' Robinson said on X. 'The joke at the end was a mockery of the hysterical 'liberals' who called Elon Musk a Nazi.'
