Missing mother Whisper Owen, 36, and her infant daughter Sandra McCarty have been found dead in their vehicle after being missing since July 15. Initial travel was from Fresno to Elk Grove, but it was later determined they may have been traveling to Waterford along Highway 120. Law enforcement recovered the vehicle from an irrigation canal after reports matched the description. Family believes the bodies found are Owen and Sandra, allowing them to begin the grieving process for their loss.
