Blizzards, wildfires and thunderstorms are expected across the nation on Wednesday
Briefly

A major storm system is sweeping through the U.S., leading to diverse and extreme weather conditions across several states. The National Weather Service has issued warnings of wildfires in warm and dry areas, particularly in parts of Texas and the Southern Plains. Conversely, the Southeast faces risks of severe storms and heavy rainfall. In contrast, the western states predict considerable snowfall, with blizzard conditions expected in several northern regions. This unusual weather pattern brings varying impacts, from blistering heat to chilling snowfall, affecting regions from the southern states to the Midwest.
The National Weather Service has warned that parts of Texas, Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma and New Mexico are at risk of wildfires due to warm and dry conditions.
In the western U.S., the weather service expects significant rainfall and one to two feet of snow at high elevations, such as the Sierra and Rocky Mountain ranges.
Blizzard warnings have been issued in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Minnesota through Wednesday, predicting six to 12 inches of snow from Iowa to upper Michigan.
In areas that are warm and moist, there is a risk of severe thunderstorms, hail, tornadoes and heavy rainfall through Wednesday.
