Winter storm warnings cover interior southern Connecticut, the Lower Hudson Valley, and parts of northeast New Jersey. Coastal and metro areas are likely to receive 13-18 inches of snow, with interior areas seeing 10-15 inches. Snowfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour are expected, with rates 2 inches per hour or greater possible Sunday night into Monday morning. N/NE winds of 30-35 mph with coastal gusts up to 55 mph are forecast. Widespread minor to moderate coastal flooding, localized overwash and dune erosion, 12-16 foot ocean waves, and gale- to storm-force marine conditions are possible during high tides Sunday night into Monday morning.
