Biden to award Medal of Honor to Korean and Vietnam War veterans

President Biden will honor seven U.S. Army soldiers with the highest military honor for their exceptional valor in combat during the Korean and Vietnam wars.
Six of the soldiers will receive the Medal of Honor posthumously for their acts of bravery that exemplified gallantry and intrepidity against enemy forces.
In addition to the U.S. Army soldiers, Biden will award the Medal of Valor to eight first responders for their heroic actions in several emergencies.
Among the first responders honored are police officers who courageously responded to a school shooting in Nashville, showcasing the bravery of those who serve their communities.
