The toddler was transported to a hospital for evaluation and treatment, where he was in stable condition."
"Officers then went to the friend's residence where the child was found and saw five other children, ages ranging from 2 to 10, all in unsafe conditions. All children were safely removed and placed in temporary protective housing, the release reads. The child's mother and another adult female were arrested for felony child endangerment. Police chose not to release their identities to protect the privacy of the children involved in the case, according to the release."
Officers in Suisun City responded to a disturbance on Crane Drive and found stolen property, drug paraphernalia, and conditions raising concern for children's welfare. A 2-year-old was found limp and unresponsive and officers believed the child had possible opioid exposure. Officers administered Naloxone, resuscitating the toddler, who was transported to a hospital and remained in stable condition. Officers then located five other children, ages 2 to 10, in unsafe conditions; all children were removed and placed in temporary protective housing. Two adult women, including the child's mother, were arrested on felony child endangerment charges. Investigations and protective actions remain ongoing.
