Four ranked teams (Arizona State, Florida, Michigan and SMU) suffered losses; Florida, SMU and Arizona State dropped out of the rankings. The top seven teams outscored opponents 307-26, and four AP-ranked teams scored 70 or more points — only the second time that has happened since 1936. Notable performances include a 70-0 win with Julian Sayin completing his first 16 passes, Penn State recording its 13th shutout since 2014, Oregon’s 66-point margin, and Miami’s Carson Beck completing 15 consecutive passes.
