Alligator Alcatraz being emptied of immigrant detainees, Florida says
Briefly

An immigrant detention center in the Everglades known as Alligator Alcatraz opened July 1 and is losing detainees rapidly as federal removals accelerate. The site will "probably be down to 0 individuals within a few days." The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has "increased the pace of the removals" and the removals may follow a federal court order requiring the site's dismantling by late October. Opponents reported busloads leaving and a congressman observed fewer than 350 men remaining. The state seized land under an emergency order and coordinated with DHS and ICE.

We don't determine who goes into the facility. ... Who they send in or don't send in is on their decision.
