Nine people were killed and one person was seriously injured after the sport utility vehicle they were traveling in veered off the road and overturned into a South Florida canal on Monday evening.
Four people, including the driver, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and six others were taken to an area hospital, where five of them later died.
The ages and names of those who were killed were not immediately released on Tuesday.
