"It's also a very dangerous time. Democracy itself is on the ballot," Mr. Salaam emphasized, indicating the vital stakes of the upcoming election, particularly for Black Americans.
In Harlem, Mr. Salaam noted that there is a momentous change occurring, stating, "Something very special is happening in America right now - a Black woman is going to be the president of these United States."
The growing concern regarding Black men's support for Democrats was highlighted when a poll showed 22 percent of registered Black voters in battleground states planned to vote for Trump.
