UFC Vegas 101: Santiago Ponzinibbio Back in Win Column, TKOs Carlston Harris
Briefly

Ponzinibbio started the fight by taking control of the centre of the octagon. Pressure and piercing strikes were the name of the game for the Argentine. He was landing strikes in combination while Harris was landing one at a time. Towards the end of the first round, those one strikes became rather effective, as Harris briefly sat Ponzinibbio down and dropped him with a 1-2, but Ponzinibbio survived.
Harris was landing strikes right on the button, that repeatedly caused Ponzinibbio to stumble. His length was causing Ponzinibbio a lot of trouble, showcasing the back-and-forth nature of their bout as both fighters exchanged blows and demonstrated their striking power.
Ponzinibbio started the third round by putting Harris on his back with a takedown and landing leg kicks from a standing position. After multiple devastating right hands, Harris crumbled to the ground, leading the referee to call an end to the contest.
After the win, Ponzinibbio expressed his desire to remain active, hoping for a spot on the rumored Miami card in April 2025, indicating his aim for a strong comeback.
